GRANNY’S ALLIGATOR CHILI
INGREDIENTS
2 lbs of Gatorama Brand Smoked
Alligator Sausage
1 small onion (diced)
2 lg. cans Bush*s Chili Beans
2 15 oz. cans stewed and diced tomatoes
1 bottle Heinz Chili sauce
Chili powder to taste
Vegetable oil (just a tad for browning the meat)
PREPARE
Chop alligator sausage into small pieces. In a large pot combine the cans of beans and tomatoes, a bottle of chili sauce and 2 tablespoons of chili powder to taste. Sauté the onion in the skillet. Add to sauce. Simmer a few hours in the pot. I do mine all day and use a crock-pot so I can forget about it.
